Sommerro Hotel Announces New Private Villa
From Dallas to Dubai, these impressive (and meetings-ready) properties will surely give you the travel bug—for business or pleasure.
Having opened in September last year, Oslo’s Sommerro easily became one of 2022’s coolest hotel openings. Clearly in tune with the growing trend of sober socializers, the hotel’s bar manager Loukia Blouti has crafted a range of zero-proof cocktails that will be on the menu through January and beyond in the belief that a good bar shouldn’t just about alcohol.
The newly opened Sommerro, in the old and elegant neighborhood of Frogner, is the result of the transformation of a 1930s landmark into a glorious art-deco hotel, with decadent interiors, a buzz of restaurants and bars, and the city’s first year-round rooftop pool and terrace.
Sommerro is home to Oslo’s first rooftop pool and terrace, with a sauna of course. And, houses a 4,500 square-metre wellness centre, five restaurants, three bars and a 100-seat gilded theatre.
Oslo’s new feel-good destination, Sommerro, is already one of Scandinavia’s buzziest urban hotels.
A landmark 1930s building that its new management has spent half a decade restoring to its former grandeur.
